Ivan Chan is the Managing Director responsible for Digital Transformation and Innovation in Greater China. Ivan is responsible for leading large-scale Digital programs for clients across industries, with key focus on Digital Customers and IoT/ Platform-driven transformation. Having worked with both industrial and consumer-facing enterprises, he offers clients unique value propositions in new product and new business development enabled by Digital.

Prior to joining Accenture, Ivan had similar Digital/ Technology Strategy capacity with McKinsey and Ernst & Young. He had also incubated two technology start-ups for MNC in Asia.

Ivan had a Master of Engineering from UBC, Canada, and an MBA from Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr Toa CHARM is the Chief Public Mission Officer (“CPMO”) the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited.  He helps develop the company's strategic direction and drives Cyberport's public mission-related programs with the goal of inspiring the next generation, nurturing entrepreneurial spirit and helping local start-ups go global.  Before Dr Charm joined Cyberport, he held senior management and consulting positions from leading multinational and Chinese companies in Asia Pacific in the past 25 years including IBM, Oracle, HSBC and Kingdee.

 

Dr Charm has been actively contributing to the ICT industry development and community affairs in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific.  He serves in a number of advisory boards in ICT industry, universities, startup communities and NGOs including Hong Kong Computer Society, Tung Wah Hospital Group, City University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Dr Charm specializes in big data, fintech, digital strategy, business models innovation, growth and internationalization for emerging companies. He often shares his experience with corporate leaders, digital entrepreneurs and students.  Dr. Charm is often invited as judge and assessor for ICT and innovation awards in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific.  

 

Dr Charm holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.   He also completed management programs from Harvard, UC-Berkeley and CEIBS.  Dr Charm is a TDWI Certified BI Professional and has completed a Big Data Certification Program from MIT.

Andy Bien

Chief Information Officer

Airport Authority Hong Kong

Currently the Chief Information Officer of Airport Authority Hong Kong, Mr Andy Bien has been in the Information Technology (IT) industry for over 30 years. He is responsible for the strategic planning and provisioning of IT services to Hong Kong International Airport and its community. He is also active in community works to promote IT industry development, green IT, innovation and talent cultivation. 

 

Trained as an engineer, Mr Bien’s technical expertise spans from hardware design, software development to lectureship in tertiary institution. He has extensive business and management experience in the finance, telecommunication, logistics, transportation and aviation industries. 

 

Mr Bien obtained his BSc Degree (Hons) in Computer Engineering from Queen's University, Canada and MSc Degree in Communication Engineering from Imperial College, University of London.

Peter Bourke

Head of Group Information Systems

Peter Bourke is Head of Group Information Systems of Cheung Kong Hutchison Holdings Limited based in Hong Kong.

Alongside his duties to provide development and support services to the group Head Office, he is responsible for bringing together IT activities across the CK Hutchison group through

  • Driving IT value through group wide procurement activities

  • Managing group wide IT investment programmes

  • Leveraging IT capability and driving  IT synergy around the group

  • Setting IT policy and standards

  • Global vendor standardisation and vendor performance management

  • Facilitating collaboration and value creation amongst subsidiaries

  • Establishing, managing and delivering shared services across applications and infrastructure

  • IT budget management and governance

  • Identifying new and innovative technology to be implemented throughout the group

 

Peter Bourke was educated in Sydney and has an Economics degree with majors in Accounting and Computing.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts and The Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Pedro Eloy

Director of New Media & Information Technology

Pedro has been the Director / SVP of Digital & Information Technology at Fung Holdings (Fung Group/Li&Fung & Fung Global Institute) for the past 6.5 years. He has led the digital strategy and orchestrated over 60+ end-to-end digital cross-platform projects for the Group’s Trading, Logistics and Distribution verticals. With a mandate to provide a digital presence for business units and to champion new digital-focused business initiatives.
 

In Academia he is the Founder of the MBA Business Lab at Hong Kong University, providing students with opportunities to pursue their passion for entrepreneurship. To support and lead entrepreneurship initiatives in Asia Pacific, Pedro has accepted the invitation to lead the UN ESBN Young Entrepreneurs Taskforce (YET) as Chairman, an initiative within the Economic and Social Committee for Asia and the Pacific Sustainable Business Network (ESBN) that promotes business leapfrogging and economic growth through the creation and expansion of opportunity corridors connecting entrepreneurs with global business, capital and services.


With 24 years of professional experience in digital innovation, entrepreneurship, business strategy and marketing and an international career in North America, Europe and Asia, Pedro is the recipient of several awards including the Best Rebrand of a Digital Property Gold Award (Asia Pacific), the IMA Outstanding Achievement Award, the IACAS Excellence in Marketing Award, the Golden Web Awards and the J. William Fulbright Scholarship Award.


Recognized by the digital industry, Pedro is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Council Member of the United Nations EBAC (ESCAP Business Advisory Council), an Executive Member of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, a judge for the Brand Republic Digital Awards, the European Media Awards (WAN-IFRA), the Interactive Media Council Awards and the Webby Awards. In his advisory capacity, he is an Honorary Advisory Member at the Hong Kong Sustainable Development Research Institute and an Honorary Member of both the Portugal-China Entrepreneurs Association and the SINO Federation of Portuguese and Spanish Spoken Countries.

Teddy Ko

Country Director, Hong Kong

As Country Director at Singtel Hong Kong since November 2015, Teddy Ko is responsible for the office’s sales and growth strategies, and focused on ensuring operational efficiency and profitability. 

 

Prior to joining Singtel, Teddy was Assistant Vice President, Product Marketing at HKT, where he led a team to develop competitive product positioning and business growth strategies for the cloud, FMNS and virtualisation portfolio. He was also previously Head of Solutions at Dimension Data China/Hong Kong. There, he was responsible for growing market share for core solutions such as Network Integration, Security Solutions, Converged Communications and Performance Optimisation. 

 

Teddy is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) and Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), and acts as convenor to the Cloud Computing Special Interest Group and Financial Technology (FINTech) Special Interest Group of the Hong Kong Computer Society. He graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a double BA major in Marketing and Computer Information Systems, and holds an MSc degree in International Business and Management from De Montfort University in the UK.

Ritesh Sarda

He is a Financial technology professional with experience in leading large technology transformation programs across Asia pacific and North America. Isabel Fan

Her career includes twenty‐five years at major corporations in U.S. and Asia Pacific. Dr. Alex Bazin

Vice President – Advanced Technology Division, Global Delivery

Dr. Alex Bazin is Vice President – Advanced Technology Division, within Fujitsu’s Global Delivery organisation. In this role, he leads a global team responsible for creating digital offerings based on IoT, AI, blockchain and robotics.

 

Alex and his team own and manage a set of standardized advanced technology offerings across a number of verticals including manufacturing, retail, logistics and healthcare. His team also provide a ‘Centre of Excellence’ of offshore development and service capabilities for digital.

 

He works closely with board level customers to ensure that digital initiatives deliver true business value. Alex is passionate about co-creation and collaboration, building communities and sharing knowledge internally and externally.

 

Alex is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry and customer events on the topics of new technologies and innovation.

Jeon Geon Lee

With over 18 years of IT analysis experience, JG LEE  has been involved with the consultancy and implementation of end-to-end analytic solutions in the area of Business Intelligence(BI), Data Warehouse(DW) and Big Data.

JG is currently responsible for technical sales and consulting for Vertica and Big Data platform in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.

 

Prior to this, JG was responsible for APJ Vertica technologist team in HPE and technical lead for Korea as a senior IT specialist for Business Intelligence in IBM.

Dr. Chen Hui Ong

Director, Operations Technology Security (Cybersecurity)

Dr Ong has distinguished herself as a cybersecurity specialist, with over a decade of experience in malware analysis, artificial intelligence, analytics, risk and vulnerability assessments, security monitoring and incident response. Her research work has been published extensively in leading publications worldwide.


She is currently Director of Operational Technology Security at Singtel, providing operational technology solutions, including industrial control systems, to address cybersecurity issues for business customers. Under her leadership, her team also looks at security solutions that safeguard the Internet-of-Things technologies and devices.


Her earlier experience focused on applied research and development and consultancy for many years as Member and subsequently Principal Member of Technical Staff at DSO Laboratories. In this role, she lead the research and development for Tiers 2 and 3 malware analysis and cyber-vulnerability studies on local critical infrastructure and collaborated closely with multi-national teams from Sandia National Laboratories and local universities.


Dr Ong first joined DSO Laboratories in 1999 and was awarded the DSO Graduate Scholarship to pursue her PhD in Computer Science under the Singapore-MIT Alliance, devoting her final thesis to automated decision-making over time and under uncertain conditions, machine learning and Bayesian modelling. During this time, she was a visiting scholar to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a recipient of the National University of Singapore President’s Graduate Fellowship, presented to PhD students who showed outstanding promise or accomplishment in research.


Dr Ong has earned accreditations as a GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) and GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) technologist. She also holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BSc (Honours) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley in the United States.
