Opening Keynote: The State of AI in 2024: Generative AI Adoption Spikes and Starts to Generate Value If 2023 was the year the world discovered generative AI (gen AI), 2024 is the year organizations truly began using—and deriving business value from—this new technology. In the latest McKinsey Global Survey, 65 percent of respondents report that their organizations are regularly using gen AI, nearly double the percentage from previous survey just ten months ago. This rapid development is yielding valuable insights. In the keynote speech, Enoch will dive into the trends of AI adoption, what are the functions Generative AI can create the most value, how companies should think about investments and roadmap, and perhaps most importantly the risk that the use of Generative AI carries and how organizations can work with that.

Keynote 3: Navigating the Generative AI Revolution: Strategies for Sustainable Business Impact Generative AI has seen a meteoric rise in 2023, with companies across industries racing to understand and experiment with this disruptive technology. However, to truly unlock its business value, organizations must shift to a "production mindset" - one that considers cost, latency, and responsible AI in addition to pure model performance. In this presentation, we will explore the key trends and opportunities in the Generative AI space, from transforming customer experiences to boosting employee productivity. We'll emphasize how a company's proprietary data is the true differentiator, allowing them to build unique, customized applications. We will dive into the best practices for building with Generative AI, including the need to move quickly, customize solutions, and plan for scale. Security, compliance, and responsible AI will also be key considerations. Looking to the future, we'll highlight emerging trends. Attendees will leave with a roadmap for accelerating their own Generative AI journeys, including recommendations on aligning teams, empowering developers, and leveraging expert AWS partners. This presentation offers guidance to navigating the Generative AI landscape and driving tangible business impact in 2024 and beyond.
